Knaan's Story
This article is so sad. No one should ever have to watch someone die. Especially not 3 children that are your best friends shot by someone your age that was forced to do so. Life expectancy in Somalia is 17 minutes within leaving the airport-that's horrible. People here aren't worrying about how long it is till they die, get raped or shot, how long they have to go without food-people in Somalia are. No one should have to live like that. He talks about how everyone looks like death. People have one life they should be cheerful and happy and confident that they wont die within the next five minutes. So many people take their life for granted. People complain that they're hungry because no one went to the grocery store and bought food meanwhile there are kids on the other side of the world living on the streets that haven't eaten for days or had fresh water their whole life. Knaan is right, he's very lucky. I believe he's been so lucky because god wanted him here to inspire others, he knew he was a fighter and he would fight for his country no matter what it takes! I am so inspired that Knaan didn't let his fame stop him from going over there. He's trying to make a difference, hes a true leader, leading people to a better place. WE are leaders, we can't expect other people to change the world if we don't try too. So next time you take something for granted just remember whats going on in Somalia.
