#18 Nick Vujicic Finishing Strong

Nick is a leader because he never gives up. He has no arms and no legs and is still so positive towards other people.
1. Be proactive - Rather then feeling sorry for himself he uses that time to inspire others, and stay positive. He could have chosen to be sad and stop trying but he never gives up until he accomplishes his goal. He recognizes what he can't control but knows he can control whether he gets back up again.
2. Begin with the end in mind - He knew he wanted to walk and do things just as other people can so that's what he did. He learned how to do stuff his own way, he learned what works for him.
3. Put first things first - He got the things done that he wanted to get done.
4. Think win-win - Instead of just getting the stuff done he wanted to he went on to the next level and talked to other people. He encouraged other people to never give up by sharing his story. It would take a lot of courage to get up and share that story with everyone but he did it to inspire others.
5. Seek first to understand, then be understood - He would've had to use this a lot for communication while growing up. When learning things you have to try to understand the teacher first, then it's your turn to ask questions.
6. Synergize - He worked together with the kids at schools to learn better communication and other stories. He also worked with others to learn how to get up and how to make his story more inspirational.
7. Sharpen the saw - He stays fit and healthy so he can deal with whatever comes his way.
